This quilt pattern has been around a long time. It’s one of the first designs that I published. I used Thimbleberries Fabrics to piece mine and sometimes it gets passed up on the shelf. This customer quilt is a very good example of how an old simple quilt pattern can be renewed with some new fabrics.
This Northwest Passage Variation quilt was pieced by Susan Strock of Conowingo, MD. Susan used a border print around the outside instead of the pieced border and pulled her colors from the fabric. Nice job Susan. Gorgeous quilt.
