Every now and again making a second sample quilt is necessary. This Glorious Garden Lattice was also made by Penni Domikis of Fredericksburg, VA and quilted by Ginger Cook. One of the local shops asked me to make it for their sample out of their fabric. That doesn’t happen often… but now there are two beautiful versions of this quilt.
An interesting thing to note about this quilt is that when I pieced it I used the outside border print for the setting triangles as well. It took a little bit of extra time to match those borders just right but I love the effect of the double borders. I’m very proud of it.
