Well… the official road trip began today. I did head up north to pick up Susan, my team member for the week and today we head off from Maryland and headed West to Pittsburgh on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Up early, pack up the last little bits and hook up the trailer. We headed up through Lancaster, PA to catch the Turnpike. It was a long ride on the Turnpike. Several provisions are necessary.
The first stop was to top up the car, hit the restroom and grab a sweet treat.
Where I picked up another mug for my collection.
There were many more stops after that… but since they were all for the same thing… I won't bore you with the details. It was such a long day… even my purse was worn out.
But the final stop of the day was our lovely temp hotel room before moving into the permanent tomorrow night. Right next door… well… everyone should have dinner at a restaurant featured on Man vs. Food. Yummy. (Yes there are fries on this sandwich… but I did not eat this). I order a steak salad. Who would have thought to put everything that comes inside a cheesesteak on top of a salad.
Are you heading out to Quilt Market? We will definitely be busy for the next two days. But when the show opens on Friday, stop by and see us. We are in booth #2051.
