My absolute favorite thing is when I receive a photo or get to see a quilt that someone made during one of my workshops. Sometimes we put their pieces on the floor or design wall to see how they are coming along… but a completed project is always a treat. Imagine my surprise when I received the photo below through a recent Facebook post.
I recently taught a the All Scrapped Out! method workshop to the charitable gals at Sew and Reap at the Perryville Outlet Center in Perryville, MD. This quilt top was created by Maryann of Teatime Quilters after that class.
I love that Maryann added a flower to the basket and she chose to make her handles from fabric instead of rick rack like the original pattern. These are all scrappy baskets and they look wonderful. Great job Maryann.
I look forward to all of you sending your project photos.
