Well… it’s Friday again. AGAIN! Time never stops. What have I finished for Friday. I haven’t but I am trying. Aside from the fact that the Thanksgiving Holiday is right around the corner and I am trying to prepare for it as best I can… Mr. Murphy (you know that guy) seems to be working against me.
I wanted to tell you that the leaf quilt was complete. But sadly the HQ is giving me tension issues and I am waiting on a top tension regulator from Superior to get here. The rumor is that it arrives tomorrow. I have been trying to complete it though. Here is the latest block done.
I think the quilting that is getting done is turning out quite nice. There will be an awful lot of quilting on it when it’s complete. I have been working so hard at getting some of the monkeys off my back around here. For instance… I finally loaded this sucker on the computer today… so that I can get a layout plan just right while writing.
I have had this software for over two weeks and still hadn’t loaded it. Speaking of software I still hadn’t loaded… this one came here two weeks ago also and I just loaded it today as well. I have been waiting to get to this so that I can use the dongle on my Mac and try out how the software runs in the max os.

This is why. I haven’t even gotten to changing the lightbulbs in my overhead light in my office. Also, I don’t even want to know what is in that stack of papers that the software is lying on. It’s crazy around here. I have some very quick projects to get to so I have one more thing that I need to get set up. This Silhouette needs to be setup in it’s new permanent home. 
Now… if only that fabric blade will hurry up and arrive… I could get some real work done around here. Luckily the weather is supposed to be horrible this weekend and there will be no reason to go outside. That will give me plenty of reasons to get some real work done around the office and studio cause next week will probably be all about the turkey soup. Hopefully there will be no distractions. Well… with the exception of this…
I forgot. It’s Doctor Who week. 50th Anniversary. Well… maybe I can scrape up some bindings or applique to do from the sofa. Have a great weekend everyone. Good luck with your own to do list.
